Beautiful, usable reverb.

Beautiful, usable reverb.

This pack gives you 8 banks of reverb presets for the MercuryX V2, with 3 versions of each sound—light, medium, and lush. That’s 24 presets total, all dialed in to be super usable and musical right out of the box.

Each bank is built around one core idea, then pushed a little further in each preset with more mix, longer decay, and slight EQ shifts to match. Nothing over-the-top or overly complicated—just great-sounding reverbs that work in pretty much any setting.

Every preset makes use of the Hold modifier, which ramps up the mix for a more dramatic version of whatever preset you’re on. It’s a simple way to get more out of each sound without switching presets mid-song. (Except for "BROWN PANEL"—Hold on that one brings in a smooth, subtle tremolo instead.) Using Hold like this basically gives you six levels of reverb per bank, so you’ve always got options without the fuss.

These were made to be inspiring and practical—reverbs you’ll actually use, whether you’re playing live, tracking, or just getting lost in the sound.

For upload: I had great success using Meris' Preset Manager (PREDITOR). Just make sure you’re using the latest version of PREDITOR, and that your MercuryX is up to date before loading the presets in.

FAQ

  • The bundles are in phase. However, once you start trying different combinations, I cannot guarantee all of them will be in phase. Thankfully, phase misalignment is very easy to resolve. Most FOH consoles have a phase reversal switch, and if you're willing to invest, Pinstripe makes phenomenal DIs that can fix it.

  • In my experience, input trim is highly subjective and varies from person to person. I have captures that sound best (to my ears) at +15, but those same captures work at +8.5 in other rigs. Everyone’s hands and setups are so different! I recommend starting at +8.5 and adjusting from there. You should notice a good amount of sustain, and the captures should feel incredibly dynamic. If you’re lacking either of these, increase the trim. If there’s too much compression or gain, lower the trim.

  • Absolutely. Tweak away! Use your ears. If the high notes are a little too harsh, bring the presence down. If lows are too boomy, bring down depth or bass! You have a lot of wiggle room with these.

  • Yep! CLEANWATER PLUS and MAVERICK & GRAND CANYON (PLUS AND STANDARD) are for you.
