DUKE SILVER delivers the iconic voice of a pristine 1968 Fender Dual Showman drip-edge silverface head through its matching 2×12 closed-back piggyback cabinet. The 1968 Dual Showman is an 85-watt (often measuring closer to 100 watts) all-tube amplifier from Fender’s legendary silverface era. Powered by a pair of 6L6GC tubes and a tube rectifier, it isrenowned for its expansive, sparkling clean tone, exceptional dynamic range, and the ability to transition smoothly into rich, harmonic overdrive when pushed. The closed-back 2×12 cabinet provides focused projection, enhanced low-end authority, and the commanding stage presence that defined Fender’s flagship clean platforms of the late 1960s.

QUICK START TIP
Load with Input Trim set to +3 dB in TONEX. A slight increase of the Gain control on the pedal (typically 0.5–1 dB) restores the exact liveliness heard in the room. These captures are intentionally open and highly responsive—adjust low-end, high-end, or drive to taste. They react like the original amplifier, with natural dynamics and no undesirable artifacts.
